■ On January 06, 2011 KEC organized a workshop for all partner NGO-s. During the workshop project EU SIMRAES was presented in detail, with a special emphasis on project’s objectives and activities. Each partner was given clear instructions regarding their tasks and responsibilities. Partner NGO-s immediately started to identify coordinators who will be engaged as Learning Center Coordinators.
■ Partner NGO-s were engaged in recruitment of LC coordinators. 6 coordinators were identified and will start working on February 01, 2011. It is also being worked on finding offers for furnishing the centers with inventory and other equipment.
■ Preparations are being made for organizing 5-day training for center coordinators aiming at increasing the capacity of centers for management, evaluation, monitoring and reporting.
■ A meeting was organized with Enesa Kadic, Chief of Division for Communities and Gender. During the meeting it was mainly discussed regarding the concrete steps that will be undertaken for the establishment of the Board for the Scholarship Program.
