Epoka e Re reports that the Spokeswoman of European Commission, Maja Kocijancic stated on Thursday that EULEX is capable to conduct investigations on the claims of the Council of Europe, regarding the crimes and human organ trafficking in Kosovo and it also has its program for witness protection in cooperation with its European Union member states. Kocijancic made these objections after the assessment of the reporteur of Council of Europe Dick Marty, that EULEX is not capable to commence investigations on these crimes or to protect witnesses and and requested creation of a trustful, international mechanism to commence these investigations.
